Mecka AI in New York is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to own end-to-end product development, tackling 0→1 problems with a full-stack, design-oriented, and data-driven approach. You will ship quickly, define quality in production, and own product quality from concept to deployment.

You will collaborate with internal users and designers to define what to build, iterate rapidly, and maintain durable workflows for large-scale data operations in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent impact.
• Proven track record shipping products 0→1 and scaling them in production.
• Strong product chops: you can reason about UX, workflows, and trade-offs.
• High agency: you move without waiting for perfect specs.

Responsibilities

• Turn ambiguous problems into shipped product: concept prototype production.
• Own scope, trade-offs, and delivery — not just implementation.
• Build end-to-end workflows across frontend + backend.
• Create product primitives that are durable, simple, and fast to iterate on.
• Sweat UX details: interaction quality, edge cases, and reliability.
• Partner closely with design — and bring strong product taste yourself.
• Define success metrics and instrumentation.
• Use data to drive prioritization, quality, and performance decisions.
