Job summary

Mecka AI in the United States is seeking a Product Engineer, Sciences to build software for scientists and technical users. You will ship full-stack interfaces, backend services and data models that support laboratory workflows from prototype to production.

You will work closely with the Sciences team to understand protocols, instruments and experiments, translate needs into concrete software, and own production quality, monitoring and integrations.

Qualifications

• Full-stack engineering experience shipping production software across frontend, backend and database.
• Lab fluency with experimental workflows, protocols and sources of variability.
• Backend and data skills including APIs, databases and data-processing workflows.
• Product judgment and ownership: direct user collaboration and scope decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack products: interfaces, backend services and data models for scientific workflows.
• Connect systems and data: integrations, imports/exports, job quality and performance improvements.
• Make product decisions: identify improvements, test with users and communicate tradeoffs.
