The Senior Product Development Manager, Fragrance owns the development of every Dossier fragrance, end to end, from brief to launch. You make sure our fragrance launches run on a reliable, fast cadence and are handed to Operations launch-ready, on schedule, on cost and at the quality our customers expect.
You are the day-to-day lead for our fragrance houses, filler, packaging vendors and regulatory partners. The CPO sets the product vision and makes the final olfactive call; you turn it into launch-ready products.
What you'll own
Scope: the full fragrance portfolio, including eaux de parfum in several sizes, sets and gifting, collaborations and new fragrance formats.
Fragrance pipeline: own priorities, timelines and trackers for every fragrance project, and keep them accurate week to week.
- End-to-end development: lead each SKU from brief to launch: fragrance development, item setup, artwork, packaging, filler development and stability, regulatory, costing, sampling, production and post-launch review.
- Fragrance development: brief our fragrance houses, manage rounds and samples, capture evaluator feedback and bring submissions to the CPO for the final olfactive decision.
- Packaging development: brief packaging vendors, manage components from request to production-ready artwork, prepare final packaging briefs with Branding (ingredient lists, UPCs, copy, dielines) and run fill and leakage tests with our filler.
- Regulatory and compliance: manage regulatory documentation for every fragrance, request ingredient lists, and coordinate registrations (U.S. MoCRA and California, EU, UK, Canada) with our regulatory partners, so every launch is compliant.
- Costing and negotiation: build and maintain COGS, review quotes, negotiate with vendors and hit target costs.
- New item setup and launch readiness: create BOMs, UPCs and item setup documents; hand off cleanly to Operations and the filler; approve pre-production samples and retains.
- Commercial support: directing support mailers, sampling programs, discovery formats and retail requests that start from a fragrance.
