Job summary

Evapco is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead the technical development, standardization, and release of industrial refrigeration heat transfer units, including ammonia and CO₂ systems. You will coordinate across mechanical, electrical, controls, and compliance teams and work with manufacturing, suppliers, and consultants to bring new product lines from concept to prototype and full release.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred), 8+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in multi-discipline engineering.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration equipment (ammonia and CO₂).
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and manufacturing teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of packaged industrial refrigeration heat transfer units and standardized product lines.
• Manage design reviews and track action items for prototype build readiness.
• Support transition from prototype designs to repeatable architectures.
• Lead lab testing and analyze performance data for unit capability.
