Job summary

Daikin Applied Ltd. invites a Senior Manager, Product Development Governance & Process Excellence to lead the governance, deployment, and continuous improvement of our product development framework.

You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Reliability, Compliance & Safety, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to elevate decision quality and launch readiness. You will own standard work, operating rhythms, and tools, driving consistency, risk reduction, and faster value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years in program management, product development, engineering operations, quality or related disciplines.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and change management.
• Strong understanding of product development processes, governance models, and execution methods.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, leadership and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve product development governance framework and stage-gate model.
• Define standards, readiness, escalation paths and decision criteria.
• Lead deployment of new processes, tools, and operating practices across the org.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to provide visibility into execution performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and delivery excellence.
• Influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-wide product development maturity.
