Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, a leading adhesive tape manufacturer, seeks a Senior Product Development Engineer to study PSA structures, properties, and processing while collaborating with Marketing and Manufacturing to drive core business needs.

The role involves leading NPD efforts, applying DOE methods, and advancing product technology, with emphasis on safety, innovation, and IP development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
10–15 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong background in polymer science and PSA adhesives

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of safety in all duties
Design PSA adhesives and coating methods for products
Research structure, properties and performance of adhesives
Manage NPD projects with DOE; establish specs and document results
Support IP development and literature review
Monitor external technology developments and integrate findings into design
Collaborate with Marketing and Manufacturing to support business needs
