We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to design, develop and test industrial rotary encoders to bring to market. This includes circuit design, fixture design, project planning, creating budgets, coordination of creating prototypes, validation testing, certification compliance, BOM creation, report writing, production/manufacturing support and troubleshooting of legacy products. This position will regularly interact with mechanical engineers and other electrical engineers to package sensitive electronics and magnetic components for use in harsh environments. Sound electrical design is a must.
Standard office environment with standard office equipment. OSHA compliant manufacturing facilities. Customer sites include industrial manufacturing plants, ports, above & underground mines, warehouses and logistics centers. Less than 5% travel required.
