Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer focused on pressure-sensitive adhesive technologies to lead design, development, and commercialization of new PSA products. You will provide technical leadership for Class 4/5 development and drive adhesive formulation with cross-functional collaboration to create new product pipelines.

Job description

Role: Senior Product Development Engineer focusing on PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) technologies, leading the design, development, and commercialization of new adhesive products.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership of Class 4/5 product development, implementing innovative PSA technologies for thin bonding applications, and supporting platform advancement to generate new product pipelines through inventions and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry; minimum 3 years of product development experience in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Preferred: Master's or Doctorate, 5+ years related experience, expertise in adhesive formulation and performance measurement, and project management skills.
