You will lead design, research, UX, and UI efforts across a modernized rebuild of the 4DX platform, designing for mobile and web experiences. Your work will impact how leaders and teams execute goals through clear, intuitive, and engaging experiences. Your primary focus will be the 4DX platform, with ~25% of time on projects for the Franklin Covey Impact Platform, an AI-enabled, multi-modal learning system that drives measurable change at scale.

Essential Job Functions

  1. User Experience Research – Plan and conduct user interviews, usability tests, and workflow studies to understand admin and learner needs, pain points, and goals. Translate research findings into actionable design insights.

  2. Product Design (UX & UI) – Deliver sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity UI designs for end-to-end features. Ensure designs are user-centered, mobile first, and scalable across the platform.

  3. Design Systems & Standards – Contribute to the evolution of FranklinCovey’s design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across all touch points.

  4. Cross Functional Collaboration – Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality product experiences. As the primary designer on the 4DX platform, you’ll have significant autonomy and responsibility.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, including UX research, UI, Desktop and Mobile design

  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work (research through polished UI)

  • Experience working at a B2B tech company or startup building digital products

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience with design systems, accessibility best practices, instructional design, and incorporating AI into UX and UI

  • General proficiency in modern design and collaboration tools (e.g. Figma and Asana experience)

  • Experience designing for SaaS, learning platforms, or B2B/B2C web and mobile applications

  • Self-directed and comfortable operating directly with cross functional partners

  • Mission driven with enthusiasm for helping individuals and teams achieve their goals

  • Collaborative, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast paced environment balancing research and delivery

Why We Think This is a Great Opportunity

  • Impact at Scale – The 4DX platform is used by organizations worldwide to achieve breakthrough results. Your work will shape how thousands of leaders and millions of learners engage with the 4DX methodology.

  • Startup Speed, Established Company Security – Our product & tech org moves quickly while backed by the stability of a profitable, publicly traded company.
