Job summary

UpMetrics is seeking a Sr. Product Designer to lead end-to-end design across our core platform, from research through implementation. You’ll evolve existing features and shape new, 0-to-1 product lines with a nimble pod consisting of a product manager and an engineering lead.

You will own research, design systems, and run workshops to solve complex problems with high autonomy and contribution to product strategy, focusing on impact and clarity across the platform.

Qualifications

• Degree in Design or related field.
• 6+ years of product design experience.
• Experience designing B2B or enterprise SaaS products.
• Ownership of the full design arc from discovery to shipped execution.
• Strong visual design skills (typography, color, hierarchy).
• Deep Figma fluency including component libraries, auto-layout, and handoff to developers.
• Comfort using AI tools (LLMs, Claude, Codex).
• Excellent communication and collaboration with PMs and engineers in an agile environment.
• Experience working with engineering in a scrum process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesis to inform product decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Define and implement UX/UI patterns and design systems.
• Collaborate with PM and design team on product strategy and execution.
• Collaborate with engineering on product development and design artifacts.
• Drive user research, design sprints, and workshops to solve complex problems.
• Develop and maintain deep domain knowledge of market personas.
