Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own health app features, insights, and early vision work. You will translate research and feedback into polished prototypes and motion, delivering shipped results. You will report to our Head of Design and collaborate daily with product managers and engineers.

You will have ownership of a health product in a fast-moving, impact-focused environment, with a public portfolio required and a remote-friendly setup across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Senior product design experience within health, consumer, or regulated products.
• 1 to 3 shipped case studies showing problem, role, decisions and impact.
• Strong UX and UI craft: visual hierarchy, typography, motion and attention to detail.
• High-fidelity prototypes you can share and walk through (e.g., Figma-based).
• Daily, practical use of AI tools and willingness to try new ones.
• Fluent Figma, including components, variables and tokens.
• Close work with engineers, and clear, short communication.
• Public portfolio website required with your application.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas from first idea to shipped result.
• Set measures for your work and own whether it succeeds.
• Turn research, feedback and data into clear decisions.
• Prototype working designs with AI tools and our design system.
• Collaborate daily with design engineers and product managers; unblock them quickly.
• Take over existing design work and maintain high quality.
