Job summary

Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a senior product designer to own major product bets like new features and health insights. You will rapidly prototype with AI tools, work closely with design, product, and engineering, and drive high-quality UX across the app.

You will report to the Head of Design and collaborate with a Lead Product Designer and Lead UX Writer to ensure consistency and fast delivery. This remote-friendly role offers global potential and equity considerations.

Qualifications

Senior product design experience, ideally in health, consumer, behavior change or regulated products.
1 to 3 shipped case studies showing problem, your role, decisions and impact.
Strong UX and UI craft: visual hierarchy, typography, motion, attention to detail.
High-fidelity prototypes you can screen-share and walk through (Figma, AI tools).
Daily, practical use of AI tools and enthusiasm for trying new ones.

Responsibilities

Own your product areas from first idea to shipped result.
Set the measures for your work and own whether it succeeds.
Prototyping & Design: Spin up working prototypes with AI tools and our design system.
Collaboration & Continuity: Work daily with design engineers and product managers, unblock them fast.
Take over existing product design work and keep quality high.
