Job summary

Boats Group, operator of YachtWorld, Boat Trader, and boats.com, seeks a Senior Product Designer to shape next-generation consumer experiences across our marketplaces.

You will own end-to-end design from discovery to launch, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Research, and Design leadership to deliver thoughtful, production-ready experiences that balance user needs and business outcomes. This role offers hybrid work in Miami with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience for consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product work from discovery to iteration.
• Ability to own complex product areas with a high degree of autonomy.
• Ability to connect customer needs, business goals, and technical realities.
• Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems and define clear paths forward.
• Excellent UX and interaction design skills to simplify complex workflows.
• Strong visual design craft including typography, layout, and responsive behavior.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative data, experiments, and research to inform decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, libraries, prototyping, and scalable systems.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering throughout development.
• Strong communication and storytelling to influence stakeholders.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, or research.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design for a significant area, from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Translate complex problems into intuitive experiences across responsive web and mobile.
• Define 0→1 experiences and guide teams from opportunity to MVP.
• Improve usability, engagement, conversion, and customer value in marketplace experiences.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape requirements and trade-offs.
• Leverage research, data, experimentation, and usability tests to validate decisions.
• Create user flows, concepts, prototypes, and production-ready designs for each stage.
• Design cohesive journeys, systems, states, and interactions beyond individual screens.
• Work with engineers during implementation to maintain design quality within constraints.
• Contribute to design systems, patterns, and shared conventions.
• Communicate rationale and product thinking to partners and stakeholders.
• Raise the bar on product quality with interaction, visual craft, and systems thinking.
• Contribute to a strong design culture through critique and collaboration.
