Job summary

M&T Bank is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design of concepts, prototypes, and milestones for digital products in Buffalo, NY. You will collaborate with product owners and developers to bring our experience visions to life and mentor other designers on the team.

You will conduct user research, run workshops, and work with service designers to align experiences. Proficient with Adobe, Sketch, InVision, Figma and familiar with Miro/Webex tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, Industrial Design or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating design/user experience work.
• Experience creating use cases, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Ability to mentor others and lead design thinking initiatives.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop the process/approach for tackling a design problem and anticipate problems using known methods.
• Envision and design end-states aligned to business goals and user needs/expectations.
• Utilize user-centered design methods throughout the product lifecycle to define deliverables.
• Partner with developers to ensure UX standards and best practices are followed.
• Lead workshops and usability studies to gather feedback and improve the experience.
