Your Impact

You will lead the design direction and execution of Handshake's design system, Rosetta, across all platforms and verticals, working closely with a dedicated product designer. As our system is in its early stages, you'll define and create components, shaping the next generation of our product.

Your Role

• Define and implement the Handshake design system and visual language, from guidelines to type stacks and atom components.
• Establish a structured and strategic approach to building a comprehensive system library, collaborating with engineering to align, execute, and deploy it across the company.
• Launch pilot experiences on mobile and web, and define success metrics to evaluate them.
• Work with the brand team to ensure the design system reflects Handshake's brand and values visually and interactively.
• Create processes for designers and engineers to contribute to the system.
• Collaborate with product designers to improve existing components and develop new ones.
• Empower teams to adopt and contribute to the design system.
• Participate in design reviews to promote adoption and address new component needs.

Your Experience

4-6+ years of experience designing for consumer and enterprise products, with a focus on design systems.

Compensation Range

$150,000 - $180,000

Salary ranges are set based on role, level, location, and market benchmarks. Final offers depend on experience, location, and other factors.
