As a Senior Product Designer, you will apply principles of design thinking to create engaging, valuable, and intuitive user experiences for our web and mobile apps. You will represent the end-user and promote human-centered methodologies across the product team to ensure designs meet user needs from first-time users to seasoned experts.

You will report to a Director, Product Design, or work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You Will:

1. Advocate for user needs leveraging design thinking
2. Optimize experiences through A/B testing and experimentation
3. Partner with research and data teams to inform design decisions
4. Enhance design quality through your work
5. Collaborate with research teams
6. Contribute to and utilize design patterns, guides, tools, and libraries
7. Explain and defend your design ideas and solutions across mediums
8. Work cross-functionally with partners and across product teams
9. Create understanding to launch new features and evolve existing ones based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
10. Build and iterate on features to improve customer experience
11. Support other duties as assigned

You Have:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role
2. Strong visual design skills and ability to influence quality
3. Experience delivering complex experiences within SaaS or enterprise environments
4. Leadership qualities demonstrated through work and mentoring
5. Experience facilitating goal alignment activities
6. Highly collaborative and resilient to stakeholder feedback
7. Understanding of hierarchy, interaction, typography, color, and layout
8. Desire to continually learn and evolve in design, product, and leadership
9. Degree in Design or related field, or equivalent experience

Salary range: $132,500 - $187,500 USD, determined by experience, skills, and location. Incentives may apply.
