Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a client-focused product zone reimagining how medical records are retrieved and delivered. You’ll help create 0-to-1 products that expand our retrieval network, and build self-service capabilities that give users greater visibility and control.

You’ll own the end-to-end design process, work with Product and Engineering, and translate complex healthcare workflows into simple, effective experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of product design experience, preferably in enterprise or data-intensive products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership and impact.
• Experience turning ambiguous opportunities into 0-to-1 solutions.
• Ability to connect user needs with business goals and technical constraints.
• Experience researching with external clients and cross-functional partners.
• Self-directed, proactive, and capable of moving work forward.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows and communicate design decisions clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and design systems; accessible design.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design from discovery to iteration.
• Shape and launch 0-to-1 products delivering value.
• Design self-service experiences with visibility and control in retrieval.
• Improve usability of core platform and internal tools.
• Engage with clients and users via interviews and usability research.
• Translate healthcare workflows into clear user journeys and interfaces.
• Partner with product, engineering, client success, and ops to define problems and tradeoffs.
• Use prototypes and research to test assumptions and guide strategy.
