Job summary

Stash is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of in-product growth loops that drive organic user acquisition and engagement. You will craft share-worthy experiences and social investing tools that inspire first-time investors to begin their journey.

This role reports to the Director of Product Design and operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring on-site presence at our New York office at least three days per week to collaborate with stakeholders and strengthen the design craft.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in mobile-first or B2C environments.
• Strong portfolio showing craft, impact and measurable results.
• Experience contributing to design systems and scalable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own UX/UI design for growth loops including referrals and engagement incentives.
• Advocate for behavioral design prioritizing customer well‑being and healthy habits.
• Use empathy to build trust among first-time investors.
• Design end-to-end experiences that foster organic growth and community.
• Bring visual point of view using composition, hierarchy, motion, and brand.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to translate insights into experiences.
• Contribute to design culture, critique, and strategic roadmap.
• Influence product direction for user-led growth balancing metrics and UX.
• Engage with AI-driven experiences and emerging patterns in fintech design.
