Job summary

Order.co is seeking a Senior Product Designer specializing in Design Systems to scale the design system across our platform and explore AI-driven workflows. You will partner with Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management to modernize legacy experiences, develop reusable patterns, and improve discovery, adoption, and contribution to the system.

The role requires 4–7 years of design experience with a focus on design systems, strong Figma skills, and the ability to translate design

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of product design experience, including significant design system experience.
• Proven experience building, scaling, or evolving a design system.
• Strong expertise in component-based design and reusable interaction patterns.
• Advanced Figma skills and familiarity with modern design system workflows.
• Strong understanding of how design systems translate into production code.
• Experience partnering closely with engineers and navigating tradeoffs between flexibility, consistency, and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and curiosity about their application to design systems.
• Excellent visual, interaction, communication, and systems-thinking skills.
• Curiosity about AI and its impact on product design and design systems, with hands-on experience using AI tools.
• Fintech and/or ecommerce experience is a plus.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer specializing in Design Systems to scale and evolve our design system across the Order.co platform and explore how AI can improve design-to-development workflows.

You’ll partner closely with Product Design, Engineering, and Product Management to modernize legacy experiences, develop reusable patterns, and make the system easier to discover, adopt, and contribute to. This role is ideal for a systems-minded designer who combines strong strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.

Contract‑to‑Hire

This role begins as a 6‑month contract , with the intention to convert to full‑time based on mutual fit and business needs. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the foundation of our product experience and become a key partner to the Product Design and Engineering teams.
