Job summary

Constant Contact, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Designer to drive strategy and execution for our most complex product initiatives. You’ll lead at the intersection of product vision, engineering constraints, and user needs, defining design strategy for an entire product pillar and guiding multiple teams with influence and care.

You may operate as an IC or manage a small team of senior designers, shaping system-wide patterns and collaborating with leadership to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Interaction Design.
• Proven track record of launching complex products with measurable business results.
• Portfolio demonstrating systemic thinking, data-informed strategy, and executive communication.
• Deep understanding of modern software architecture and front-end constraints.
• Ability to articulate complex design concepts to executives and cross-functional partners.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers and navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term UX vision and design strategy for a major product pillar.
• Own end-to-end design lifecycle for highly complex product areas.
• Influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Exec Leadership.
• Contribute to and lead the Design System, elevating consistency across product suites.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into testable design hypotheses and measure impact.
