Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Designer Denim in Minneapolis to own the design and development of Target-owned brands, from apparel to home goods. You will drive product design strategy, partner with merchants and sourcing, and lead PD&D for multiple lines while ensuring brand cohesion and competitive pricing.

We value an 8+ year track record, mastery of Illustrator/Photoshop, and a strong sense of market trends. Remote or hybrid flexibility is available with the right alignment to business needs.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in design and development.
• Computer design system skills including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Advanced understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit or raw materials & production.
• Market knowledge and ability to apply trend information.

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead PD&D design and development processes.
• Mentor Associate Designers and Designers to enable collaboration.
• Develop lines for a category, brand, business or guest segment.
• Collaborate with technical designers and sourcing partners to resolve issues.
• Forecast category and brand trends and ensure brand cohesion.
