Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design initiatives for data products, translating user needs into elegant, scalable interfaces. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering as an equal voice, raising the quality bar across dashboards, analytics, and data workflows.

You’ll mentor peers, contribute to design systems, and apply AI fluency to ideation and prototyping while upholding craft.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of product design experience with a portfolio of shipped enterprise or B2B SaaS work demonstrating strong craft and judgment.
• Experience designing dashboards, analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven experiences.
• Proven ability to lead problem definition and shape solutions, not just execute on requirements.
• Mastery-level interaction design skills across complex, multi-role workflows, systems, and states.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including libraries, components, auto-layout, tokens, and prototyping.
• Experience working within and contributing to a design system, with sound judgment on when to extend versus adapt patterns.
• Active AI fluency within your design practice, using AI tools thoughtfully for ideation, research synthesis, prototyping, and iteration while maintaining a high quality bar.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for major features and product initiatives, from problem definition and research synthesis through interaction design, high‑fidelity execution, and post‑launch iteration.
• Own and elevate design quality for your product area by setting standards, running critiques, and holding a high bar for craft and usability.
• Design for operational complexity, including data‑dense tables, multi‑step workflows, dashboards, role‑based experiences, and configuration-heavy interfaces.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering in prioritization, scoping, and trade‑off decisions as a trusted, equal collaborator.
• Mentor and support other designers through feedback, pairing, and leading by example in problem framing and presentation.
• Collaborate with design systems partners to adopt shared patterns, contribute components, and ensure consistency across the product portfolio.
• Translate user research and customer feedback into clear design direction and strategic decisions, not just surface‑level UI changes.
• Present work persuasively to cross‑functional stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind decisions and adapting based on feedback.
