Job summary

SoundCloud is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Creator Team to drive intuitive, data-driven tools for artists and creators. You will own the end-to-end design process, turning complex analytics into elegant dashboards, with a strong emphasis on data storytelling and AI-assisted workflows.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to define scope, ensure feasibility with Engineering, and elevate the design system across creator tools, while maintaining ownership from concept to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design.
• Strong portfolio showing data storytelling with analytics dashboards.
• Proven track record leading major product features independently.
• Excellent problem-solving with rationale, business impact, and constraints.
• Expert-level mastery of Figma; experience with AI design tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional alignment.
• Genuine interest in music production and empowering artists.
• Experience with motion design and prototyping; familiarity with frontend basics and data viz libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design high-craft, intuitive product experiences turning complex analytics into dashboards for creators.
• Own end-to-end design for creator tools; define scope when PM support is light.
• Translate vague problems into clear workflows.
• Utilize AI design tools to accelerate prototyping and scale output.
• Conduct user research to create workflows, UI, and interactions for uploading, managing, monetizing content.
• Partner with Engineering leads to ensure feasibility and quality through deployment.
• Help evolve SoundCloud’s design system for consistency and scalability.
