Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Product Designer – Benefits Servicing to shape the end-to-end medical benefits experience across its digital ecosystem, helping members understand and maximize coverage with confidence.

You will partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to design intuitive, accessible solutions that improve member satisfaction, engagement, and overall care navigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product design with a portfolio showing impactful digital outcomes.
• Exceptional visual design craft with polished, modern, user-centered experiences.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Experience designing responsive web, mobile, and desktop experiences.
• Translate complex business and user requirements into intuitive interfaces.
• Attention to detail, accessibility, usability, and pixel-perfect execution.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Strong expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, IA, and visual design.
• Proficiency with modern design/prototyping tools including Figma.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, Eng, Research, Biz).
• Strong communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution.
• Proven impact on member satisfaction, engagement, or operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences for Humana’s medical benefits products and services.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and research partners to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
• Use user research, usability testing, analytics, and feedback to inform design decisions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and design best practices.
• Partner with Product/Design teams to ensure consistency across the member journey.
• Present design recommendations and build alignment with stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Support and contribute to design systems and scalable UX standards.
