Job summary

JetBrains Air is seeking a senior product designer to own the web surface and automation-focused experiences. You’ll shape the user interface, collaborate with developers, and contribute to the evolving design system to scale across the product family.

You’ll work in a small, tight-knit design team within JetBrains Air, bringing advanced Figma skills and a strong eye for UX, while leveraging AI tools to prototype and iterate quickly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience with measurable business impact.
• Ownership: see features through from design to production.
• Strong cross-team delivery with minimal hand-holding.
• Experience using AI tools in design workflows (Cursor, Claude, etc.).
• Solid proficiency with Figma, components, tokens/variables, and design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design the web interface for Air: team management, automation setup, and a results overview.
• Shape the design process for the automations sub-team, collaborating with developers to establish review and handoff practices.
• Take features from ambiguous briefs to shipped interfaces.
• Contribute to the shared design system: add and maintain components in Figma as the product grows.
• Vibe-code and use AI for prototyping when it helps move ideas forward faster.
• Participate in cross-team demos and quarterly planning, bringing a design perspective to Air’s direction.
