Job summary

Book of the Month is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape a premier digital product for 1m+ monthly visitors. You will own end‑to‑end design from ideation to deployment, collaborating with Product, Engineering and leadership to deliver elegant, scalable interfaces.

You will iterate rapidly, balance business and user needs, and leverage AI tools to optimize workflows. A strong portfolio and experience across web, iOS and Android are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience for consumer-facing products.
• Experience designing for web, iOS & Android platforms.
• Fluency in Figma.
• Familiarity with usability metrics and UX best practices.
• A portfolio showing problem-solving and collaboration.
• Experience with AI tools like Figma MCP and Claude code.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype intuitive features considering business, tech, and marketing needs.
• Transform ambiguous ideas into useful design solutions for members and internal stakeholders.
• Distill complex problems into simple, intuitive designs.
• Conduct competitive analysis, user testing and research.
• Present designs to stakeholders with organized Figma files and prototypes.
• Collaborate with PMs to prioritize work and support pixel-perfect development.
• Maintain and evolve the design system and style guide.
• Hand off designs to engineers with clear annotations and documentation.
• Integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive impact.
• Stay informed on design trends to keep the product ahead.
