Edenspiekermann’s US design team is hiring a permanent, full-time, remote-first designer based in Southern California to shape AI-enabled digital products and experiences. You’ll work in a high-craft, low-ego culture with direct access to partners and senior leadership, real autonomy, and constructive feedback.

The role focuses on designing intuitive digital products and services, turning user needs and business goals into end-to-end experiences, evolving design systems, and using AI tools

Formación

• 5–8 years of experience in product design, digital design, UX/UI, or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing visual craft, interaction design, systems thinking, and digital products.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Experience taking products from concept through implementation with product and engineering teams.

Join Edenspiekermann’s US design team in a permanent, full-time, remote-first role based in Southern California. You’ll help shape AI-enabled digital products and experiences while working in a high-craft, low-ego culture with direct access to partners and senior leadership, real autonomy, and constructive feedback. This multidisciplinary team is actively building AI into design, strategy, research, engineering, and delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is USD 110,000 to 125,000 depending on experience and qualifications. You will receive a defined contribution toward medical, dental, and vision coverage and access to a healthcare FSA, plus a 401(k) plan with a 2% company match and eligibility for a discretionary year-end bonus based on company performance.

What you’ll do

• Design intuitive, engaging digital products, websites, applications, and services.
• Turn user needs, business goals, and technical requirements into thoughtful end-to-end experiences.
• Create journeys, information architecture, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Develop and evolve design systems, component libraries, and visual languages with accessibility and scalability in mind.
• Contribute original concepts and collaborate with developers across research, testing, and iteration.
• Use AI tools across research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, and production workflows.
• Experiment with generative AI to expand creative possibilities and improve efficiency.
• Conceptualize and prototype AI-enabled experiences, including conversational interfaces, intelligent assistants, personalized experiences, and adaptive interactions.
• Explore where AI can solve real user problems, partnering with designers and developers to test feasibility.
• Share AI workflows and evaluate outputs with a critical eye for quality, accessibility, privacy, reliability, and human oversight.
• Own assigned design workstreams from exploration through delivery, and present decisions clearly in workshops and client settings.
• Mentor less-experienced designers through collaboration and feedback.

What you bring

• Approximately 5–8 years of experience in product design, digital design, UX/UI, or a related discipline.
• A strong portfolio showing visual craft, interaction design, systems thinking, and digital products.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Experience taking products from concept through implementation with product and engineering teams.
• Strong typography, composition, visual storytelling, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI in your design process.
• Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Cursor, or comparable emerging tools.
• Curiosity about AI’s impact on digital products, creativity, and human-computer interaction, including interest in AI-generated content, conversational experiences, intelligent recommendations, and automated workflows.
• Comfortable experimenting, learning, sharing discoveries, and distinguishing useful applications from hype.
• Creative, curious, self-starting, collaborative, receptive to feedback, and comfortable working in ambiguity with iteration and ownership.
• Comfortable working across US and European teams.
• Based in Southern California and available to travel to US client sites as engagements require.
