Begin has a new opportunity for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team! This role can be remote-based in select US locations*.

Reporting to our Senior Director of Digital Product , the Senior Product Designer will elevate our digital experiences across platforms through thoughtful, user-centered design.

You will:

• Design engaging, user-centered experiences for both child-facing apps and parent-facing websites
• Provide design direction, feedback, and structure to maintain consistency and elevate craft across projects
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, Learning, and Art/Animation teams
• Lead UX and visual design from concept through execution, maintaining high quality and accessibility
• Conduct user research and support A/B testing to inform and validate design decisions
• Maintain and evolve shared design systems across platforms
• Focus primarily on web (80%), with some contribution to mobile app experiences (20%)

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience designing digital products, including both responsive websites and mobile apps
• Portfolio demonstrating strong interaction and visual design skills, ideally for consumer-facing or educational products
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing/creative, and subject matter experts
• Proficiency in Figma, including components and design systems
• Strong user research skills, including designing and analyzing qualitative studies
• Familiarity with A/B testing and interpreting results for product design impact
• Awareness of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field—or equivalent professional experience

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience designing products for children, families, or educational contexts
• Understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/React Native) for better engineering collaboration
• Familiarity with generative AI design tools for rapid ideation and prototyping

Salary MIN: $125,000 MAX: $140,000 . This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.
