How we'll deliver success:

Shippo seeks a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team and shape the future of shipping for e-commerce. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to design intuitive, user-friendly experiences that address complex industry challenges. You will be involved in all stages of product development—from user research and wireframes to prototyping and visual design—making meaningful contributions to our core products.

Shipping & handling responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into thoughtful, usable, and elegant design solutions.
• Participate in design sessions to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and refine product direction.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design intent.
• Contribute to information architecture and user flows for cohesive user experiences.
• Conduct user research and usability testing; incorporate data to inform design decisions.
• Work with and contribute to the evolution of our design system.
• Iterate on existing features based on user feedback and business needs.

• A strong product design portfolio showcasing UX thinking and shipped work.
• 6+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
• Solid understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and responsive design.
• Experience with user research, data, and analytics integration into design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC) and contribution to design systems.
• Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication of design rationale with teammates and stakeholders.
• Ability to create assets with appropriate fidelity to communicate design directions.
• Comfort working remotely across time zones.
• Motivated, self-directed, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

$138,000 - $187,000 a year

Our Compensation Shippolicy:

We prioritize fair and equitable compensation. The base salary range for this role is $138k to $187k annually, typically centered around $163k. We have two US pay ranges: a standard range and a higher range for areas with higher living costs, such as NYC and California.

The actual salary depends on factors like experience, skills, training, and market conditions. Total compensation includes salary, equity, and benefits as detailed in our package.
