RapidAI, the global leader in AI-driven medical imaging, seeks a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for web, mobile, and desktop platforms in a remote-capable role based in the United States. You will lead design for complex, data-rich workflows, contribute to the design system, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clinically impactful products.

What You Will Do In this role, you will: Design Craft • Lead end-to-end design for complex, high-stakes workflows across web, mobile, and native desktop applications, balancing user needs, clinical accuracy, and business goals. • Design intuitive, reliable interfaces that translate complex clinical data and AI outputs into clear, actionable insights for healthcare professionals. • Prototype, test, and iterate quickly, using design systems, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to validate solutions. • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define the product vision and ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and shipped with high quality. Systems Thinking • Own and evolve the RapidAI design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability across products. • Contribute to component libraries, design tokens, and documentation, making it easy for other designers and engineers to build on your work. • Think holistically about product architecture and user journeys, connecting the dots between different parts of the platform to create cohesive experiences. Research and Validation • Partner with the Design Research team and PMs to plan and conduct user research, including interviews, usability testing, and field studies with clinicians. • Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that inform design decisions and product strategy. • Validate designs with users early and often, iterating based on feedback and data. Collaboration and Communication • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, clinical AI researchers, and healthcare professionals, to deliver exceptional products. • Communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively, influencing stakeholders and building consensus around design decisions. • Mentor junior designers, sharing best practices and helping to raise the bar for design quality across the team. What You Will Bring To succeed in this role, you will need: Must-Haves • 7+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design for complex, data-rich products. • Expertise in Figma and design systems, with a deep understanding of component libraries, design tokens, and accessibility. • Experience designing for web, mobile, and desktop applications, with a strong understanding of platform-specific design patterns. • Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail, typography, and layout. • Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to synthesize findings into actionable insights. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders. • A passion for healthcare and a desire to make a real impact on patient care.
