Job description

Senior Product Designer

Our Company

Anthuria is bringing AI innovation to senior living facilities, transforming how nurses and operators manage critical healthcare information. We use large language models to turn overwhelming volumes of clinical notes into clear, actionable insights that immediately improve patient care and operations.

We're building a unified platform that streamlines cross-care team collaboration—something no competitor currently offers. Our understanding of our users’ operations enables us to create products that become essential to our users' daily workflows in an industry where technological innovation has historically lagged.

At Anthuria, we foster a culture of collaboration, support, and curiosity. We assume best intentions, pursue technical excellence, and remain focused on delivering client value. As a founding team member, you'll continuously shape not just our technical direction but our culture and practices as well. This is a rare opportunity to make a massive impact from the ground floor as we build something transformative in healthcare.

About the Senior Product Designer Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who’s passionate about simplifying the complexity of healthcare operations through thoughtful, user-centered design. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to build intuitive experiences that directly improve patient care delivery and facility operations.

You’ll own critical projects from concept to launch, helping shape the future of Anthuria’s platform and driving real-world impact for frontline healthcare teams.

What We Offer

Pay Transparency

The annual base salary range for this position is $140,000-$170,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon work experience, and/or skill level, among other things. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus.

Benefits

  • $0 deductible and 100% employee covered health, vision, and dental benefit package

  • 401(k) matching program of 50% up to 6% of annual salary.

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Beautiful custom-built office in NY with daily lunch

Location

Anthuria is headquartered in a brand new office space in New York's Hudson Yards. We've designed our workplace to foster the collaboration and spontaneous interactions that drive innovation. Our team works in-office four days per week, with flexibility to work remotely when needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead design initiatives across our AI-driven operating system for nursing homes and senior living facilities

  • Simplify complex healthcare workflows into elegant, user-friendly interfaces

  • Own the end-to-end design process: discovery, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs

  • Collaborate tightly with Product Managers and Engineers in iterative development cycles

  • Conduct lightweight user research and usability testing to validate design decisions

  • Create and evolve an agile, scalable design system that enables faster, more consistent product development

  • Evolve and maintain our design system to ensure scalable, consistent, and delightful user experiences

  • Champion the voice of the user across teams and advocate for design excellence at every stage

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of product design experience, preferably with experience in B2B SaaS healthcare, healthtech, or other complex industries

  • Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UX thinking, crisp interaction design, and polished visual execution

  • Expertise with modern design and prototyping tools (especially Figma)

  • Expertise in building and maintaining agile design systems (especially in fast-moving product environments)

  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is energized by ambiguity, iteration, and real-time feedback

  • Deep empathy for users, especially clinicians, patients, and operational teams

  • Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and communicating design decisions clearly and persuasively

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing healthcare or clinical workflows (e.g., EHR, care management, diagnostics)

  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS requirements, etc.)

  • Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to better partner with engineers
