Job summary

Apple Inc. in Culver City, CA is seeking a senior Product Designer to shape experiences for App Store Connect, TestFlight and App Analytics.

You will craft responsive web and native experiences, hand off pixel-perfect designs to engineers, and iterate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class tools for developers. Qualifications

Responsibilities

This suite of products is the platform that allows App developers to manage, modify, analyze, monetize, and publish content to the App Store.This designer will create experiences for responsive web and Apple’s native platforms (iOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS).

Description

We are looking for an outstanding senior designer who is passionate about product design and wants to help shape the future for app developers. The designer will be responsible for researching and designing new user experiences based on product requirements, new App Store features, and changes impacting our platforms. Deliverables include high-fidelity comps, prototypes, and documentation required for pixel-perfect hand-off between design and engineering. The role will work alongside product, engineers, and cross-functional teams to craft best in-class experiences for our developers.The ideal candidate has a proven track record solving complex problems across multiple platforms. The candidate has an eye for pixel-perfect detail and possesses a strong blend of user-centered design principles, interaction and visual design skills. The applicant must have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. Prior experience working within and contributing to a design system is a plus.The candidate must thrive through iteration, feedback and be a natural collaborator with excellent communication skills. Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of design experience working within a highly collaborative environment with web and native app interfaces that solve complex workflows.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative problem-solving, user-centered design, and attention to detail.
  • A passion for Apple, its products, and its customers.
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong systems thinking approach with the ability to foresee how project design decisions impact the broader platform ecosystem.
  • Ability to turn raw numbers into clear stories that show users what happened, why it matters, and what to do next.
  • Highly motivated by group critique, seeks out feedback, and is energized by it.
  • An understanding of how to apply Apple’s design aesthetic and user interactions.
  • Proficient in industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch) and experience working with robust design systems.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity and change.
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
  • Outstanding ability to lead and present a design-first vision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interest in data visualization combined with an appreciation for the art and science of charts, visual hierarchy, and the transformation of complex numbers into clear, elegant information.
  • Demonstrated ability to design clear charts, filters, and compact data tables that simplify complex information for quick insights.
  • Ability to prototype and/or a strong desire to learn.
  • Understanding of core product and business metrics.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,000 and $263,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
