Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Product Design Engineering Program Manager to lead the technical management of developing and implementing mechanical components for our Audio Product Design team.

The role drives day-to-day activities to hit program milestones, coordinating engineering, development planning, and validation cycles while collaborating with cross-functional teams and reporting to executive management.

Qualifications

• 4-8+ years of experience leading program management or mechanical engineering design of product development (≤140 chars)
• Experience shipping high volume products including experience working with CM partners (≤140 chars)
• Detailed knowledge of product development cycles & strong understanding of manufacturing processes (≤140 chars)
• BS ME/EE degree or equivalent (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day activities to meet key program objectives focusing on engineering, development planning and validation cycles.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to balance competing objectives and meet timelines.
• Collaborate with teams throughout the design process and maintain communication with contributors and executive management.
