Google in the United States is seeking a Product Deployment Engineer for the Search+ team to bridge customer needs with gTech Ads services and engineering capabilities. You will craft high-quality technical specifications and support enterprise advertising clients with data-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes strong customer engagement, translating needs into scalable product strategies, and delivering prototypes and deployment support to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• 5 years of experience building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies and SQL databases.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Advise on maximizing complex product adoption, prioritizing scalable solutions with last-mile customization.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear system architectures and technical specifications.
• Lead technical hand-overs to the Engineering team by authoring high-quality, prototype-grounded Business Requirement Documents and Product Requirement Documents aligned with the product roadmap.
• Identify systemic product gaps and edge cases and serve as a direct feedback loop to the Ads Solution Engineering team.
• Act as a trusted advisor providing technical-product oversight during implementation, ensuring the Engineering build aligns with customer strategy while deferring base-code decisions to Engineering.
