Job summary

Google’s gTech Ads team is hiring a Product Deployment Engineer to serve as the regional service authority for a product area, translating customer needs into scalable specifications and guiding implementation.

You will partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver bespoke solutions, ensure alignment with data constraints, and help customers maximize ROI across Google Ads and Marketing Platform products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and engagement managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure, first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
• Lead in-depth technical assessment/consultation sessions to uncover opportunities where bespoke solutions are required, ensuring solutions respect data constraints and business cycles.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability and best practices as well as a path to media activation.
• Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while delegating base code-level decisions to Engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional gTech teams to orchestrate bundled service delivery and ensure seamless customer outcomes.
