Manulife/John Hancock in Boston (and Toronto) seeks a Senior Product Delivery Analyst specialized in SimCorp Dimension within Investment Accounting. You will configure, test, and enhance Dimension solutions, translating complex accounting needs into clear specifications and workflows.
Collaborating with Finance, Operations, Risk, Product, and Technology, you’ll deliver end-to-end solutions, automate processes, and support testing, deployment, and release activities in an Agile environment.
Locations: Boston, Massachusetts or Toronto, Ontario. Employment Type: Full-time.
Are you an experienced SimCorp Dimension professional who enjoys solving complex investment accounting challenges and turning business needs into scalable technology solutions? We’re looking for a Senior Product Delivery Analyst to join our Investment Accounting product team. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of investment accounting, financial instruments, technology, and product delivery, helping deliver solutions that support critical accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and operational processes. You’ll partner with Investment Accounting, Finance, Operations, Risk, Product, and Technology teams to enhance SimCorp Dimension, solve complex business and technology challenges, and help shape the future of our investment accounting platform. This is an opportunity to bring deep SimCorp expertise to a highly collaborative environment while working on initiatives spanning investment accounting, data integration, automation, operational controls, and emerging AI capabilities.
Configure, enhance, test, and support SimCorp Dimension solutions supporting investment accounting and financial reporting. Translate complex business and accounting requirements into clear functional specifications, configurations, and solution designs. Configure accounting rules and workflows supporting trade processing, valuation, reconciliation, corporate actions, general ledger posting, and financial reporting. Support investment accounting processes across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, derivatives, alternatives, and cash instruments. Partner with Product Managers, Investment Accounting, Finance, Operations, Risk, Business Analysts, developers, and QA teams to deliver effective end-to-end solutions. Troubleshoot complex accounting and technology issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions. Integrate SimCorp Dimension with enterprise data platforms, APIs, external data feeds, general ledger systems, and downstream applications. Analyze investment transactions, accounting entries, positions, and reconciliation results to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Help optimize the performance and reliability of batch processing, interfaces, accounting workflows, and reporting processes. Support testing, release management, deployment, training, and post‑implementation activities. Contribute to deployment and release processes using Azure DevOps and related enterprise technologies. Participate in Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, story sizing, and cross-functional delivery. Identify opportunities to use automation, AI, intelligent assistants, and copilots to improve investment accounting and operational workflows. Contribute to engineering standards, knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement across the team.
This role goes beyond traditional application support. You’ll have the opportunity to become a key contributor to a business‑critical investment platform and use your SimCorp Dimension and investment accounting expertise to influence how solutions are designed, delivered, and improved. You’ll tackle challenging problems across investment accounting, financial instruments, technology, data, automation, and AI, while collaborating with teams across both the business and technology organizations. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to see the impact of your work on the systems and processes that support sophisticated investment operations. If you’re a hands‑on SimCorp professional who enjoys solving difficult problems, collaborating across teams, and improving how investment accounting technology works, we’d love to hear from you.
