Job summary

Apple in Culver City, California seeks a Senior Product Data Scientist to own data-driven strategy and scale ML/experimentation for Apple Media Services such as Music, TV+, Podcasts and Fitness+. You will collaborate with partners across Business, Marketing, Product, Content and Engineering to drive customer value.

You will shape data infrastructure, lead experimentation, apply causal inference, build models for segmentation and lifetime value, and mentor teammates to raise technical excellence

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience extracting insights from large datasets using Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the data science strategy for product, business, and creative teams working on Apple's Services
• Lead understanding of how users discover and engage with content and subscription services
• Architect and scale experimentation frameworks to drive testing velocity
• Apply causal inference techniques to measure product impact in non-randomized settings
• Develop ML models for customer scoring, segmentation, and lifetime value estimation
• Leverage LLMs and GenAI tools to develop innovative solutions
• Lead data infrastructure and tooling roadmap, defining BI requirements
• Set technical direction and mentor data scientists across the organization
• Work with sponsors to shape roadmap and product strategy
