Apple is seeking a Senior Product Data Scientist to lead data-driven strategy and deliver scalable ML and experimentation solutions for Apple Media Services. This role collaborates across teams while prioritizing customer privacy and data protection.

The position focuses on Apple Music, Apple TV, Podcasts, Fitness+, and other services, driving measurable product and business outcomes through rigorous data science and experimentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience extracting insights from large datasets, including experience using Python and SQL.
• 7+ years of experience applying statistical methods to business problems including classification, segmentation, forecasting, and customer lifetime value.
• Experience architecting and scaling experimentation platforms, including hypothesis testing, metric tracking, and experimentation strategy.
• Strong expertise in causal inference methods, including synthetic control, diff-in-diff, propensity score matching, and regression discontinuity design.
• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models that inform business decisions and product outcomes.

Role Focus

The position owns and drives data-driven strategy and supports measurable product and business outcomes through ML and experimentation. Work will cover Apple Media Services including Apple Music, Apple TV, Podcasts, Fitness+, and more.

Required Qualifications

Compensation and Location

Location: Culver City, CA (onsite).
Salary: USD 175,000 - 308,500 per year.
