Job summary

Google is seeking a Data Scientist for the App Foundations team to tell the growth story through data and support growth of mobile apps. You will analyze growth, troubleshoot issues, and summarize progress against goals while collaborating with product teams on notifications, promos, and AI features to impact growth.

In this role, you will work with growth metrics, develop scalable analyses, and help shape product development with data-driven insights across iOS, Android, and browsers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, engineering, physics, economics, or related quantitative field.
2) 8 years analytics experience solving product/business problems with statistical analysis and coding (or 5 years with Master's).

Responsibilities

Perform analysis using SQL, R and Python; translate results into actionable insights for product teams.
1) Build scalable processes, tests, and components to anticipate future issues.
2) Report KPIs to leadership and translate findings into product improvements.
3) Develop analyses and business cases to inform growth strategies across apps.
4) Understand Search App Growth across iOS/Android and related platforms.
