Google Magpie Data Science supports broader Search including Mobile Apps, Discovery, Multimodal and AI Search. We are a dynamic and exciting team working on the cutting edge of Search at Google.

As a data scientist on the App Foundations team, you will play a central role in telling the growth story through data. You will support the broader team by understanding growth of the mobile apps and identifying opportunities, troubleshooting issues and summarizing progress against goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 8 years of analytics experience solving product/business problems with statistical analysis and coding.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Tell the growth story through data and support the broader team.
• Understand growth of mobile apps and identify opportunities.
• Troubleshoot issues and summarize progress against goals.
• Collaborate with product teams to assess impact on growth.
