Job summary

Axon is seeking a Product Counsel to shape the legal strategy for Axon 911 from design through launch, partnering with Privacy, InfoSec, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and IP. You will review features, roadmaps, and integrations to provide practical guidance while spotting regulatory risks across connected products.

The role requires a JD and 5–7 years in tech/product law, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–7 years of legal experience focused on technology and/or product matters.
• Experience with risk management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain legal risk to non-lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product counsel for Axon 911 from early design through launch and ongoing operation.
• Act as the legal liaison to Privacy, InfoSec, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and IP; coordinate across teams.
• Review marketing materials and product claims for accuracy, substantiation, and legal risk; monitor regulatory developments affecting AI and public safety tech.
