Job summary

MiniMed in Northridge, California, is seeking a Senior Product Development Program Manager to lead strategic cost reduction and value engineering for the next generation product platform. You will partner with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to identify, prioritize, and execute cost improvements while maintaining product performance and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on VA/VE, cost modeling, and cross-functional product development

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience leading Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives in a regulated environment.
• Strong collaboration with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional cost reduction programs for next-gen product platforms.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and roadmaps.
• Coordinate activities across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Eng., Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Sourcing.
