Job summary

Hand2mind seeks a Senior Communications Editor to join our Product Development Content team. You will concept, write, and edit educational product content for toys, games, and curricula, influencing our brand and storytelling.

You will partner with product managers, designers, and marketers to align editorial standards, drive content from ideation to on-time delivery, and help lead content development across multiple consumer products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or related field is required.
• 5-7 years of progressive content/creative copy development experience.
• Exceptional creative writing and editorial skills; portfolio/samples required.
• Experience developing and/or implementing editorial style guides and standards.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality product content for toys, games, and related materials from conception to publication.
• Edit content through editorial stages: substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, contextual editing.
• Create brand-building copy for product descriptions, packaging, landing pages, and scripts.
• Write, review, and fact-check content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with style guides.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and marketers on multifaceted projects.
