Job summary

Hand2mind is seeking a Product Manager to oversee the development of our educational product and toy lines from concept through market launch. You will guide cross-functional teams and collaborate with overseas manufacturers, internal departments, and licensors to bring innovative educational products to life.

The role emphasizes managing a diverse portfolio, maintaining timelines, and delivering high-quality products aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of consumer product development experience.
• Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with entrepreneurial spirit.
• Able to meet multiple deadlines and work within budgets.
• Comfortable analyzing basic financial data to support brand/product goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage 8-12 new products through the product life cycle, from ideation to market launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across editorial, design, sales, and marketing to bring products to market on time and within budget.
• Work with vendors to quote products, negotiate prices, and determine delivery schedules for launches.
• Support market research with data gathering, customer feedback, and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
• Lead product testing for new concepts and participate in data maintenance using D365 and related spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on sample requests for meetings, photoshoots, and trade shows.
