Reddit, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to lead end-to-end dealmaking across high-impact product and platform opportunities.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify market partners, negotiate complex agreements, and manage long-term integration health and account expansions. The role is fully remote-friendly within the United States, with optional in-office presence at select offices.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete Business Development lifecycle: from framing strategy and evaluating market opportunities, to outreach, term sheets and long-form agreements, product rollouts, and renewals or evolutions.
• Manage relationships for existing Business Intelligence, social-listening, and enterprise customers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Product Marketing, Communications, Privacy, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
• Drive strategy and deal execution across platform initiatives such as age verification, search partnerships, commerce/affiliate integrations, and gaming collaborations.
• Provide clear contract fluency to structure sustainable, win-win terms and safeguard Reddit's strategic optionality.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to lead end-to-end dealmaking across high-impact product and platform opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to conceptualize strategy, identify and approach key market partners, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and manage long-term integration health and account expansions.

You will manage existing commercial partnerships across social listening, brand intelligence, and market research, while also shaping and executing strategy for strategic product integrations across search, commerce, identity, and third-party data ingestion.

This role is fully remote-friendly within the United States. If you live near one of our physical offices (San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, or Chicago), our doors are open for you to work in-office as often as you like.

Responsibilities:

• Own the complete Business Development lifecycle: from framing initial strategy alongside Product leads, evaluating market opportunities, and outreach, to negotiating term sheets and long-form agreements, managing product rollouts, and leading long-term account renewals or evolutions.
• Serve as the relationship and commercial owner for existing Business Intelligence, social-listening, and enterprise customer relationships.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and navigate the evolving strategy for commercial Business Intelligence data access.
• Strategy and deal execution across diverse platform initiatives, such as age and human verification, search partnerships, commerce/affiliate integrations, and gaming collaborations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Legal, Product Marketing, Communications, Privacy, and Finance to ensure seamless execution, operational rigor, and alignment across internal stakeholders.
• Apply strong judgment, business acumen, and detail-oriented contract fluency to structure sustainable, win-win commercial terms and safeguard Reddit's strategic optionality.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of business development and product partnerships experience.
• Demonstrated experience taking complex product partnerships from initial conceptual strategy through negotiation, contract execution, launch, and long-term partner management.
• Adept at bridging Product, Engineering, and Business Development to transform technical scope into compelling commercial deals and integration roadmaps.
• Strong analytical judgment and hands-on experience evaluating, redlining, and negotiating complex commercial agreements in partnership with legal counsel.
• Proven ability to build trust and drive consensus across matrixed teams, including Legal, Product Marketing, Finance, and Corporate Communications.
• Proven self-starter with the initiative to solve problems, manage shifting priorities, and execute multi-stakeholder deals end-to-end.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience at an advertising platform, developer platform, or high-growth user-generated content platform ecosystem.
• Prior domain familiarity with data licensing, Business Intelligence tools, social listening platforms, or search/commerce APIs.

Pay Transparency:

This job posting may span more than one career level.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base salary range for this position is:

$217,000—$303,900 USD
