Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a results-driven Product Owner to support the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned areas. You'll collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user and business needs.

Responsibilities include end-to-end lifecycle management, agile planning, stakeholder engagement, data-driven optimization, and change management to ensure adoption of new features.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ownership and execution.
• Proven experience supporting the development, launch, and execution of product/solution strategies and roadmaps.
• Background in supporting business case development.
• Collaborative mindset with experience helping plan and manage the work of diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Strong intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving abilities, and analytical skills for areas of moderate complexity.
• Working knowledge of current and emerging trends, practices, technologies, and policies affecting product and business areas.

Job description

Supports the development and execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned product or solution areas. This role works closely with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both user and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership & Lifecycle: Assists in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including planning, implementation, and ongoing monitoring. Serves as product owner for assigned features, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives on time and within scope while managing risk and tracking progress.
• Agile Execution & Collaboration: Partners with technology teams to define requirements, run daily standups, facilitate sprint and PI planning, and manage backlog grooming.
• Requirements & Stakeholder Engagement: Gathers functional requirements, user experience needs, business rules, and permissions through active stakeholder engagement. Develops product documentation, release plans, and training materials.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Monitors product performance and user engagement using analytics and Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to prioritize feature enhancements, guide release cycles, and participate in testing strategies.
• Industry & Trend Research: Conducts research on emerging technologies, industry trends, and market developments to inform feature prioritization and product strategy.
• Change Management & Adoption: Helps develop and implement change management strategies, training, and readiness communications to support smooth organizational adoption of new products and processes.
• Culture & Contribution: Demonstrates strong communication and decision-making skills while driving results and cultivating innovation within the team.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills

• Professional experience in financial services, specifically with mutual funds, investment research, and investment tools/solutions.
• Prior experience or relevant coursework in product management, business analysis, or technology project management.
• Industry certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
