Job summary

The Weather Company is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to join the Product Insights team, working across The Weather Channel app, Storm Radar, and future app experiences. You will bridge raw behavioral data and product strategy, collaborating with product, engineering, data science, and UX research to ensure we have a holistic view of user experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in product analytics or data analytics for consumer digital products.
Proficiency in Amplitude or similar behavioral analytics platform (Mixpanel, Heap) is required.
Strong SQL skills with ability to query and analyze large datasets.
Solid grounding in A/B testing methodology, including statistical significance and sample size estimation.
Excellent communication skills translating data into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Audit and ensure data integrity across analytics systems (Amplitude, etc.) and fix tracking gaps.
Validate event instrumentation with engineering around feature releases to maintain a single source of truth.
Document analytics taxonomies, data dictionaries, and tracking standards to improve data literacy.
Partner with product/engineering throughout development to ensure correct analytics from start to finish.
