Job summary

Flock Freight is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to own analytics for the Spot Pricing product, partnering with Product Managers, Engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complex pricing problems through data. You’ll translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses, build dashboards and models, and drive measurable business impact with 5–10 high‑impact analyses each month.

This role offers a hybrid work model in the San Diego/Encinitas area and a base salary of $119,000–$130,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or CS.
• 3–5+ years in Product Analytics, Pricing Analytics, Marketplace Analytics, or similar analytical role supporting product decisions.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with ability to write complex queries independently.
• Experience with BI/visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Mode).
• Experience with experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, KPI development, impact measurement).
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into actionable analyses and insights.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics for Flock’s Spot Pricing product and influence product roadmap with data-driven recommendations.
• Translate ambiguous questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
• Build and maintain dashboards, models, and reporting tools for KPIs and OKRs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries powering reporting and data pipelines.
• Perform 5–10 high-impact analyses monthly to prioritize product enhancements.
• Design and support experimentation (MVP validation, A/B testing, KPI development).
• Present findings clearly to Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analytics team members.
