FinQuery, LLC is seeking a Senior Product Accounting Manager to translate complex accounting standards into software requirements within the Product Accounting team. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure accurate interpretations across the product portfolio.

This role emphasizes accounting expertise, AI-enabled research, and cross‑functional impact. The position reports to the VP of Accounting Standards & Advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• 4–6 years in Big 4 audit/assurance or senior corporate accounting.
• Extensive background in technical accounting research, documentation, and standard application.

Responsabilités

• Translate US GAAP, IFRS, GASB and international frameworks into software requirements and test cases.
• Research ambiguous accounting questions and document conclusions.
• Monitor FASB, IASB, GASB guidance and brief leadership ahead of updates.
• Develop accounting examples and edge cases for new products and features.
• Govern AI-generated accounting content to ensure accuracy before customer use.
• Engage with customers to explain how accounting is handled in the product.
• Educate the company via KB bulletins and leadership briefings.
• Test new accounting features end-to-end and drive issue resolution.
• Mentor junior team members to grow their skills.
