Join Our Team

As a Supervisor of Senior Digital Producer, you will be responsible for creating engaging content across our digital platforms, including websites, mobile apps, and social media channels for news and sports. You will assign daily and long-term projects, monitor the quality of digital content, and develop strategies to grow our social media presence. You will work collaboratively with a team dedicated to producing compelling, timely, and accurate content that connects with our local audiences.

What You Will Do

• Manage digital content creation across websites, mobile apps, and social media platforms
• Oversee project assignments and ensure high-quality digital content
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance social media engagement
• Collaborate with team members to produce timely and accurate news stories

What We Seek

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years experience in online journalism or production writing
• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent television work experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, web scripting, FTP, and familiarity with content management systems, image and video editing tools, and social media platforms
• Strong understanding of AP style, news judgment, and organizational skills
• Ability to produce engaging digital stories with multimedia assets
• Willingness to travel within the community to cover stories
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, especially during breaking news or severe weather events

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership or supervisory experience of 1+ years
